Highlands County

Highlands County is home to the Sebring International Raceway and Lake Placid.  Located about 70 miles south of Orlando, Highlands County has rolling hills with 95 lakes, 43 boat ramps and landings, 18 county parks, and 15 golf courses. 

Lake Placid is known as the Caladium Capital of the World for growing the elephant ear looking plants which are shipped worldwide.
