Lake County is located to the northwest of Orlando and has the highest point in the Florida peninsula at 315 feet above sea level. With the highest elevation, Lake County has rolling hills and more than 1,000 lakes and rivers.
Sports are a big part of Lake County with competition water ski schools and a nationally recognized triathlon training center. The rivers and lakes provide boating, fishing, water skiing, and many other outdoor water-related activities.
