Located in the Northwest part of the Florida Panhandle, Washington County is a small county that offers annual family events like the annual Watermelon Festival, Christmas Festival and Parade, and Wausau Fun Day and Possum Festival.
The county seat in Washington County is Chipley Florida.
Chipley is home to Falling Waters State Park, which includes Florida’s highest waterfall. A 20 foot wide waterfall drops 73 feet into a 100 foot deep sinkhole. The park is only a few miles south of I-10.
